Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily controls associated with Payment Centre activities.
• Implement and complete daily check lists.
• Assist with reporting requirements both on an on-going and ad hoc basis.
• Taking ownership of issues and resolution of queries.
• Assess processes/systems and suggestions ways to improve controls/efficiencies.
• Assist the reconciliation team with queries that result due to their activities.
• Provide cover to other staff for planned and unplanned absences.
• Providing general administrative support.
• Any other such duties that may be required of you.

Principal Qualification or Requirements:  

• 2 – 3 years in a similar position
• Strong Organisational skills
• Quality focused with attention to detail
• Strong administrative and reporting experience
• Computer Literate with good Excel knowledge
• Work well within a team as well as on their own initiative
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
• Strong numeric skills

Desirable:

• Third level qualification or experience within the financial services sector is advantageous but not essential

Report Developer

As a Report Developer you will work on the design, development and implementation of Fintrax Group reporting applications in Microsoft Reporting Services and SQL Server. This role will be located in Fintrax's Galway City Centre Office.

Main Duties/Responsibilties:

• Gather reporting requirements from customers
• Design layout of reports and determine the best way to present data to end users
• Develop reports and method of presentation using Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS)
• Prepare required documentation
• Working closely with project management on related activities for planning, scheduling and product release
• Performing escalated production support for assigned systems

Principal Qualification or Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years industry experience
• Knowledge of writing complicated and efficient SQL is essential
• Knowledge and use of XML
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organisational skills to efficiently work in a dynamic environment
• Highly organised with ability to multi task and motivated with sharp customer focus
